Next Show Delfest
We're off to Delfest now. We had a great time at MSU, with the best weather in many a year, although a few degrees cooler would have been OK. Thanks to all of our loyal customers that visited - and to the many folks who came in to say hi and Happy Wheatland. Meanwhile we are hard at work on getting our garden in and preparing for a very busy June. As our schedule grows you will notice that we are staying a bit closer to home this year. Between gas prices and really enjoying gardening, we want to spend less time on the road. As always you can order things right here on the website. Also, folks have been asking for unmatted prints for many years. We are now selling them on Etsy. Just search for Katzinn there and you will find our store. Right now we are mainly showing limited editions and small prints, but if there is a particular item you would like unmatted just email us at katzinn@katzinn.com . We'll be glad to add things to our Etsy store.
Just want to let you all know that frame prices are going up again. The plexiglass just keeps getting more expensive. We just placed our first order for this year, and the price increases are something we have to deal with. As we've told many of you, the frames are pretty much a break even for us. We plan on making our profit on the prints. But we do have to at least cover the cost of the frames. Thus the increases. We will be updating the website to reflect the increases over the next few weeks, so if you find price differences between framed goods - that is the reason.
We have talked to a lot of folks about originals at our last few shows. The fact is that Kat's color originals sell extremely quickly. We will try to keep posting her latest work here - and if you see something listed as new and you want to know the size and price of the original - just email us and we can let you know about availability. The other way you can use the email is to order stickers and bookmarks and other smaller items you see at the shows, but not on the website. Just about any picture can be put on a sticker so feel free to ask. For these smaller items, we can work out a shipping cost for you and just send you a Paypal invoice, or you can send us a check.
